An invitation to submit an Application will be emailed to all eligible nonprofits on WRWF list; a notice is also placed in the newspapers.

Applications are due from nonprofits. Grants Coordinating Committee (“GCC”) will review the applications to verify all forms are completed correctly and meet the 501c3 requirements. Once the applications are reviewed and corrected, if necessary, the applications will be sent to the 12 members of the Application Review Committee (ARC = GCC plus 8 subcommittee chairs) for review. ARC members will have approximately 5 weeks to review all of the applications.
Subcommittee chairs will arrange meetings to train their committee volunteers. At least one member of the GCC will attend the training meetings. The meetings may occur at their convenience prior to distribution of applications to the subcommittees.

The ARC meets to discuss all of the applications and narrow the applications that best meet the WRWF criteria. The funds available will also be taken into consideration. The nonprofits that have made the cut will be notified and told they will be contacted to arrange a site visit.

Applications will be forwarded to the subcommittees for review and site visits.
JANUARY AND FEBRUARY
Subcommittees review and evaluate applications and perform site visits. Individual Grant subcommittees submit the results and recommendations to GCC by February 17, 2017.

Community Library – All Grants volunteers meet to choose finalists.
Tuesday, March 6, 2018, Community Library 1:00 PM 5:00 PM
Finalists present their projects to the full membership. Process of selecting of finalists and ballot will be explained. Live video streaming gives all members the opportunity to view presentations. Ballots are mailed to full membership immediately following.
Members Vote; Ballot deadline is April 6, 2018
Agencies will be notified of results within a few days of the ballot deadline.
APRIL 7 – MAY 1
GCC will review and evaluate the process.
Funds will be transferred to the recipient nonprofits.
