“The WRWF is the best organization I have ever participated in. It is well organized, filled with smart and giving women, and it directly serves the community we work and live in, from the ground up. I am honored to be a part of the WRWF.”

~Andrea Pierceall, past Board Member

According to our recent Member Survey, the women in WRWF join for a variety of reasons—pooling resources for greater impact, interconnecting with our community, learning more about Blaine County needs, meeting women interested in philanthropy—but one fact is certain, our members overwhelmingly find their experience in WRWF to be positive, worthwhile and broadening!

WRWF received a generous gift from an anonymous donor. We are using the monies to help “grow” our membership.  We have named this new member growth fund the “Sprouting Fund.” We are offering a limited number of one-time matching memberships to new members at $500, with the other $500 paid by the donor. The $100 administrative fee will be divided equally between the member and donor.

The intent of “Sprouting Fund” memberships is to instill interest in our organization and to encourage membership among women who might not feel prepared to commit the entire $1000 in dues for their initial year in WRWF. The $500 paid by the “Sprouting Fund” member goes directly to our pooled fund.

Our organization was founded in 2005. We began with 40 members and have grown to over 340 members strong. We are constantly networking by telling our story. We chose aspen leaves as our symbol because of the extraordinary way aspen trees network from a single tree into very large groves.

Once a member of the Wood River Women’s Foundation, please consider joining one of our committees.
