The WRWF grants process has been modified from previous years in order to complete the vetting process during the winter months. Letters of Inquiry will not be solicited this year. This modification eliminates one step in the previous process, thereby reducing the amount of paperwork required from the applicants and from the grants committee volunteers reviewing the applications.

An invitation to submit an Application will be emailed to all eligible nonprofits on WRWF list; a notice is also placed in the newspapers.
Monday October 17, 2016, 8:30 AM

Once the applications are reviewed and corrected, if necessary, the applications will be sent to the 16 members of the Application Review Committee (ARC = GCC plus 10 subcommittee chairs) for review. ARC members will have approximately 5 weeks to review all of the applications.
Subcommittee chairs will arrange meetings to train their committee volunteers. At least one member of the GCC will attend the training meetings. The meetings may occur at their convenience prior to distribution of applications to the subcommittees.
